Title, caption, size, branding
with-title
In content or toc, the first # that is a direct child of the slide becomes the title. In grid compositions, it spans the full width and gets its own row. ## headings placed inside groups remain the group titles.
The option does not create any text: you must actually write the #. Simple content can display a title without it, but with-title keeps an explicit, portable convention.
with-legend
The last paragraph that is a direct child of the slide becomes the caption, reduced to 60% of the base size. It is neither a Marp footer nor an image's alt text.
<!-- _class: content cols-2 cards with-title with-legend medium -->
# Before / after
> ## Before
>
> Templates copied from presentation to presentation.
<!-- -->
> ## After
>
> A versioned theme, distributed to the right people.
Source: illustrative example.The caption must be the last paragraph
Without a separate final paragraph, the option may select the last content paragraph, or the one containing an image. The CSS does not check the structure, but the extension flags it.
In image/text layouts and compositions with an expandable central area, the caption gets a bottom row. In simple flow, columns and the regular gallery, it follows the content.
Sizes: medium and small
| Class | Base size |
|---|---|
| (none) | 30 px |
medium | 25 px |
small | 21 px |
Titles, tables, captions and code scale proportionally. Margins and spacing, on the other hand, do not shrink.
Text overflowing?
medium, then small, are the first things to try. After that: shorten, or split into two slides. The extension offers these sizes directly from the overflow diagnostic.
branded
Adds a small DWA signature in the top right corner. It does not enable backgrounds (they are already provided by the layouts) and does not add an external logo.
<!-- _class: content with-title branded color-4 -->
# A signed slide
The signature appears in the top right corner.
